 SUCCESSFULLY TESTED 11 INDIAN MISSILES

HSTDV (SEPTEMBER 7)

Developed by India's DRDO and tested off the coast of Odisha, the Hypersonic Technology Demonstrator Vehicle (HSTDV) is an unmanned scramjet demonstration aircraft for hypersonic speed flight

ABHYAS (SEPTEMBER 22)

High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) vehicle is developed by Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) of the DRDO. It offers a realistic threat scenario for the practice of weapon systems and is designed for autonomous flying with the help of an autopilot

ATGM (SEPTEMBER 23)

The DRDO successfully test-fired a laser-guided Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) from the indigenous Arjun main battle tank. As per the DRDO, it can be used to defeat "armoured vehicles protected by explosive reactive armour (ERA)" DRDO successfully conducted a night testfire of its indigenously developed nuclear-capable

Prithvi-2 (SEPTEMBER 23)

surface-to-surface Prithvi-ii missile from a base in Odisha. As per the DRDO, the missile uses an advanced inertial guidance system with manoeuvring trajectory to hit its target.

BrahMos Extended Range Supersonic Cruise Missile (SEPTEMBER 30)

DRDO successfully test-fired an extended range BrahMos supersonic cruise missile off the coast of Odisha. The missile is capable of hitting targets at more than 400 km range

ATGM (OCTOBER 1)

Indigenously developed laser-guided anti-tank Missile(ATGM) test-fired from an MBT Arjun Tank in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. According to the Defence Ministry, the missile employs a tandem heat warhead to defeat explosive reactive armour protected armoured vehicles in ranges from 1.5 to 5 km.

Shaurya (OCTOBER 3)

DRDO successfully test-fired indigenously developed hypersonic nuclear-capable Shaurya missile, an advanced version of Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) K-15 (B-05). The 10-metre-long missile has a strike range of around 800 km.

SMART (OCTOBER 3)

DRDO successfully flight tested its indigenously developed ART torpedo system. SMART is a missile assisted release of lightweight anti-submarine torpedo system for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) operations far beyond the torpedo range.

Rudram-1 (OCTOBER 9)

India successfully tested the Rudram-1, a first indigenous anti-radiation missile which can detect enemy radars on the ground. It has been designed to be launched from various fighter aircraft currently in the inventory of the Indian Air Force,

Prithvi-2 (OCTOBER 16)

India successfully conducted another night trial of its nuclear-capable Prithvi Ll missile as part of a user trial for the armed forces from a test range in Odisha coast. The liquid-propellant can carry a 1-tonne warhead.
