State/UTs given flexibility to open schools, colleges and coaching institutions in a graded manner
Entertainment parks and similar places
A max. of 50% of the hall capacity in closed spaces with a ceiling of 200 persons

SPECIFIC GUIDELINES FOR OPENING ALL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Online/distance learning shall continue to be the preferred mode of teaching
Students may attend schools/ institutions only with the written consent of parents
Attendance must not be enforced, and must depend entirely on parental consent
States/UTs to prepare their own SOP regarding safety precautions
CONTAINMENT ZONES TO REMAIN UNDER LOCKDOWN TILL OCT 31ST
Strict containment measures will be enforced and only essential activities will be allowed.
No movement of people in or out of these zones, except for medical emergencies.
NO LOCAL LOCKDOWN CAN BE IMPOSED OUTSIDE CONTAINMENT ZONES, WITHOUT PRIOR CONSULTATION WITH THE CENTRE USE OF AAROGYA SETU APP
The app enables early identification of potential risk of infection.
It acts as a shield for individuals and community.
Employers on a best effort basis should ensure that the app is installed by the employees.
District Authorities may advise individuals to install the app.
